SOUND HEALING FACILITATOR CERTIFICATION
Mentored by Diana Vasquez | Founder of Soundbath Jax, The Sound Healers Collective & The SOMA Collective
A grounded, immersive training designed for those called to confidently and responsibly facilitate sound healing experiences for others.
This 12-week guided certification experience blends self-paced online learning, live mentorship, practical application, and hands-on assessment to help you develop both the knowledge and real-world skills needed to thoughtfully hold space through sound.
Whether you are brand new to sound healing or looking to deepen and refine an existing practice, this program is designed to meet you where you are.
And while the cohort experience unfolds over approximately 12 weeks, that does not mean you have to finish in 12 weeks.
The coursework is self-paced. Some students move through the online material quickly, while others need more time to practice, revisit lessons, and integrate what they are learning. You will continue to have access to the course so you can complete your certification at a pace that supports your life and your learning.
✨ Next Cohort Begins January 3rd 2027 ✨
✨What Makes This Program Different
This is not simply a weekend workshop or a passive online course.
Learning how to play an instrument is only one small piece of becoming a sound healing facilitator.
Throughout this program, we explore not only what to play, but how to create an intentional experience — how to work with sound thoughtfully, understand pacing and transitions, guide participants into and out of an experience, read a room, hold space, understand your scope of practice, and develop your own confidence as a facilitator.
The goal isn’t to create facilitators who all sound or facilitate exactly like me.
It’s to give you a strong foundation so you can develop a facilitation style that authentically feels like you.

✨ How the 12-Week Experience Works
✨Self-Paced Online Curriculum
Your core education is completed online through a combination of video lessons, written materials, demonstrations, reflections, and assessments.
You’ll receive your printed course manual as a companion to the online curriculum.
Although we move through the program together as a cohort for approximately 12 weeks, your learning does not have to fit neatly into 12 weeks.
Life happens.
Work gets busy. Vacations happen. Families need us. Sometimes a chapter deserves more time and practice before moving forward.
The 12-week structure provides momentum, community, and support — not pressure to race toward 100%.
✨Live Cohort Connection
We begin with a live Intro Zoom: Meet Your Instructor & Cohort to open the program together, walk through what to expect, and help you begin with clarity.
Additional live Zoom check-ins are offered throughout the cohort and are optional.
Can’t attend live? Replays will be available.
You’ll also have access to our online student community throughout the program for questions, conversation, support, and connection with your fellow facilitators.
✨ Practical Facilitation Assessment
Knowing the material is important.
Learning how to apply it is where everything begins to come together.
Every student must successfully complete a practical facilitation assessment before receiving certification.
There are two ways to complete this requirement:
ℹ️ OPTION 1 — Small-Group In-Person Intensive
Students who are local — or who would like to travel to Jacksonville — can complete their practical assessment during one of our in-person intensive training days.
These are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of four students per intensive, allowing everyone meaningful hands-on practice and individual feedback.
During our day together, we’ll work with:
Instrument playing techniques
Placement and setup
Pacing and transitions
Layering sound
Session structure
Facilitation and space holding
Real-time troubleshooting
Hands-on practice
Student-led sound experiences
Individual feedback
Several intensive dates are offered, allowing students to choose the date that works best for their schedule.
ℹ️ OPTION 2 — Virtual Practical Assessment
Not local to Jacksonville?
You can absolutely complete the certification remotely.
Non-local students — or students unable to attend an intensive date — may complete the practical requirement by submitting recorded facilitation assessments demonstrating the required competencies.
Your submissions will be personally reviewed and you’ll receive feedback as part of the assessment process.
The certification standard is the same regardless of which pathway you choose.
The goal is not simply to complete coursework. It is to demonstrate that you can thoughtfully and responsibly apply what you’ve learned.
✨ Certification Requirements
To receive your Sound Healing Facilitator Certification, students must successfully complete:
Online course curriculum and chapter assessments
Required reflections and assignments
Practical facilitation assessments
Demonstration of foundational playing and facilitation competency
All financial obligations associated with the program
Certification is awarded after successful completion of all required coursework and practical evaluations.

No. While instruments enhance the experience, the program is designed so you can begin learning without them. I have recommendations for instruments in all price points.
